From the series “Macross Frontier”, the VF-27 was developed by Macross Galaxy Variable Fighter Development Arsenal. This Variable Fighter sports 4 engines which allows the fighter to surpass the VF-25. Released after the premier of the Movie “Macross Frontier: The False Songstress”. This Variable fighter s one of the most anticipated products of the DX Chogokin VF line.
Fighter Mode
The kit includes the main fighter, Manual, Beam pod and 4 sets of hands
Beam pod opens up
Shield has retractable knife
2 Pilots can be seated on the cockpit
Ranka Lee and Brera Sterne pilot figures are removable

The Bottom part of the Valkyrie
Top view
On the stand. Note: Stand is not included, I just borrowed it from the Movie DX Chogokin Alto Custom
Gerwalk Mode
Feet has metal parts on it.
Plenty of markings on the body, most of them are prone to paint chips so be careful when transforming.
Gerwalk mode has no problem standing even when holding the massive Beampod.
Battroid Mode
Arm flexibility is an improvement compared to the older releases of Bandai’s vf-25 series
Visor on the head is made up of clear green material
The main problem of the Beampod is that it’s too heavy. It needs two arms to support this pose.
Articulation is greatly improved especially on the leg part.
Aside from the problem of paint chipping, the VF-27 is a remarkable improvement to the DX VF’s of Bandai and it does not disappoint.
Here’s hoping they re release the VF-25′s with this kind of articulation and quality.

Ayos Gundam Unicorn nmn pre hehe
Nice review! I’m waiting for mine to arrive….
thanks BlueMax, It definitely worth the purchase.
@ Kzie
MG Unicorn will be up next 2 weeks or so, Need to finish up my MG Red Frame 1st
man i hate those visible screws….but that is why its so stable compared to plamo, isn’t it?
@ 00hater
yes the main feature of the dx chogokin line is the metal on the joints, it’s much stable than the plamo version.
the screws doesn’t irritate me that much since they are located on the bottom side of the wings
I wish they put a plug or something to hide all those screws so that it looks more real !!
